Finding financial aid should not be a problem - there are plenty of options out there. Your eligibility for these programs will depend on several factors
- Citizenship
You must be a United States citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
- Education
You must have a high school diploma or GED, or have passed a similar independent test approved by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Enrollment You must be enrolled at least part-time as a regular student at an accredited institution.
- Selective Service You must register for the Selective Service, if required to do so by law.
- Social Security Number You must have a valid Social Security Number.
- Financial Need This is based on your parents' income and/or your own if you're considered an independent. To determine the amount and programs you qualify for, you must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov and provide any required tax and financial records.
