Certificates of Deposit offer current rates of interest for terms of 91 days up to 60 months to invest your funds. The minimum opening deposit required for investing in a certificate of deposit is $500. Interest on certificates of deposit compound at maturity on terms of less than one year, annually on terms of 12 months or longer. Interest can be transferred to another Fremont National Bank account monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually, for those who wish to have access to the earned interest.
